Synopsis

Life is sweet. Grace Sheridan has just won her dream role in a new off-Broadway play, and the talented hunk flooding her phone with scintillating texts and scandalous photos is Jack Hamilton, the twenty-four-year-old “it” Brit whose Hollywood career is about to climax faster than . . . you know. So what if their steamy relationship is bicoastal and under wraps, or that L.A. fangirls are grabbing Jack’s ass?

Absence does make the heart grow fonder and the libido hotter, but their few weekend visits feel more more like fast food than the five-course dinner they crave. And then—the creator of Grace’s new show is the man who broke her heart back in college, and he seems to have written the play just to make amends with his leading lady.

As rumors spread that Jack and his lovely, leggy ex-girlfriend have gotten back together, Grace starts to wonder about her own feelings. Can lust alone keep our favorite, feisty duo together, or will Grace find herself back in safer, more familiar arms?

Review
4.5 out of 5 stars

I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review...

As soon as I finished The Unidentified Redhead I was beside myself to start The Redhead Revealed!  I couldn't wait to get more Grace and Jack, this couple is just so easy to love.  Book #2 starts out with Grace in NYC, missing Jack but loving life in in the big city, where she actually gets paid to act.  Jack on the other hand is still in LA being kept extremely busy with press junkets and promotions for The Time Traveler, the movie that's going to launch his star power even higher.  The real question however is whether or not their new, very secret, relationship can sustain the distance.

I think what I love most about Grace is that her character is a very real person and easy to relate with.  She has the same insecurities each of us deal with and is just as good at brushing them under the rug as we are ourselves.  In this chapter of her life Grace is still confident and she is still very much in love with Jack, however she keeps having these doubts as to why he chose to be with her, is there really more to their relationship than just great sex, will they really be able to make each other happy in the long run and so on and so forth.  Instead of discussing these issues with Jack she just pushes them to the back of her mind and keeps moving forward.  Needless to say these fears and insecurities come rushing back all at once and the fallout isn't pretty, but then again it never is when you choose not to face things head on.  Again, another character flaw which just makes Grace all the more real!

Jack on the other hand is just starting to get a taste of what being a major celebrity is all about, but all he can think about is Grace, how much he misses her and how he cannot wait for her to get back to LA.  While it isn't always easy being so far apart he knows their relationship is something special and is willing to put in the work.  After all, it isn't really work when you're in love.  So what happens when Grace unloads on him and runs screaming for the hills?  Will this be a defining moment in their relationship or will it completely destroy everything?

Jack is such a great character, he may only be 24 but he's definitely an "old soul."  He is strong when Grace is weak, he knows what he wants and goes after it never settling for less.  He is sweet and romantic, funny and passionate, and seemingly gracious, never letting the fame go to his head.  Not to mention I love how thoughtful and encouraging he is towards Grace.  Everyone should be lucky enough to have a Jack in their life!  Let's face it, Alice Clayton did a pretty awesome job when she created his character.

This second installment was definitely filled with more drama but it was still just as fun and just as romantic as The Unidentified Redhead.  All around it was a fantastic read and even though they are apart for long periods of time they don't loose any of their steam...yep they still have a pretty hot sex life!  Even though I loved their happy ending I cannot wait to see some more of this couple in the Redhead Plays Her Hand!
